The Church Pension Group exists to support the Church's clergy and lay employees in their calling to spread the gospel. Learn about CPG and the support offered through its benefits, education and engagement with the Church.

Alina Martinez

Alina Martinez, Relationship Manager

Alina joined the Benefits Relationship Management Team as a Relationship Manager in April 2025. Alina is responsible for building and maintaining strong, trusting and professional relationships with bishops and diocesan and parish leadership in domestic dioceses. She also builds and supports relationships as a consultative benefits partner within the context of CPG’s mission and fiduciary responsibilities. She takes a collaborative and thoughtful approach to create an inclusive environment, while keeping the client's goals and values in focus.

Prior to this role Alina served as Director of People Services and Operations in the Diocese of Florida, after also having served for many years in finance and operations of parish ministry at Church of the Good Shepherd. Alina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and has served in the Episcopal Church for almost two decades. She is a recipient of the Bishop’s Cross Award in recognition of her service to the church.

Alina studied Finance & Accounting as well as Business Administration.

Chipasha Kashoki

Chipasha Kashoki, Director Relationship Management

Chipasha is responsible for building and maintaining strong, trusting and professional relationships with bishops and diocesan and parish leadership in domestic dioceses. He also builds and supports relationships as a consultative benefits partner within the context of CPG’s mission and fiduciary responsibilities.

Prior to joining CPG in 2016, Chipasha administered benefits programs for the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation (PECF) in Washington, DC. Before that, he was a Program Analyst with the City of New York Parks and Recreation department.

Chipasha holds a BA in Economics from Colgate University and an MBA from Syracuse University, as well as human resource certifications from the HR Certificate Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management. He lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, and enjoys walking, biking, and kayaking.
